10-31-67 Winterland without a doubt.
Grateful Dead, Quicksilver, and Big Brother.
Rumors were flying that Ken Kesey was going to come down a rope from the ceiling to make an appearence, since he was "hot" in those days. I had no idea if that really happened, because I seemed to be visiting other planets a good part of the time, so memories of details are sketchy. The music sounded great, I recall exploring the building, and spending what seemed like a lot of the show in the area behind the light show people. Purple wedges had that effect.
